Camping in the South Downs, near Lewes

Our small campsite sits tucked into a quiet valley at the foot of the South Downs, with just ten pitches surrounded by open downland and not much else. That's rather the point.

We're a working farm first, and camping here keeps that same unhurried feel. If you're looking for a peaceful campsite near Lewes, this is it. The historic town is a short drive away, Brighton is twenty minutes, and the East Sussex coast is only five miles from the farm. Sitting outside your tent of an evening, though, you'd never guess.

The South Downs Way runs right past us, making the farm an ideal overnight stop if you're walking or cycling the trail. Pitch up, rest your legs, and rejoin the route in the morning.
